Unbeatable easy 8K
I purchased the TV for longevity and beautiful picture quality; I got so much more. The upscaling of the video is top notch. Darker movies come out looking like they should. The game mode makes playing my PS4 seamless. The remote control is truly universal. All of the setup and especially SmartThings is flawless. I use ambient mode when I'm conversing with friends. Bluetooth connectivity to the TV to play music stored on my phone brings up these artistic, dancing objects that come to life. This TV is everything I wanted and so much more.
This product has some good TV features
The new Samsung QN800A is a masterpiece of technology and really brings the concept of a TV to a whole new level. The colors are so vivid and the picture is so clear I feel that I can step into the scene and touch everything myself. I really like how easy it was to setup and how user friendly the menu feels. We tested out the gaming feature on the Playstation 5 and I am just in shock at how far we have come from my day of old school Nintendo. When “game mode” was turned on, the screen looked so fluid that I could have sworn the people on the screen were real.
Samsung does it again!
First, I love the brand. They have never done me wrong. A TV that works perfectly and it...is...beautiful! Very easy to setup. I used the SmartThings app from Samsung and hooking up everything was simple. After a few minutes I powered her up and was just floored. Big, beautiful display. I'm buying a new stereo to join this up and know that I'm future proofed (until next year). As for what we watch, we watch everything. I love the HDR on Netflix and the new animated movies look gorgeous. Sports on this big beast are awesome to watch (hook 'em). Playing the new Ratchet & Clank on the PS5 is like playing a Pixar game. The TV comes with brightness set all the way up, you're going to want to turn that down. Seriously, it was like staring at the sun. This is normal so just make the tweak to what looks good for you and yours. I really don't know what else to say. Get it already.
Amazing Versatile TV!
My husband and I absolutely love this TV. The HDR is amazing and the range and depth of the blacks is excellent. The TV software allows us to quickly switch from watching Netflix, to watching something on cable, to playing video games. One of my favorite features is the art mode as it allows to fit better in the room when not in use rather than having a giant black rectangle on the wall. Lately we have been rewatching Breaking Bad and finally watching Yellowstone! It has been a great multi-purpose TV for streaming shows, watching cable, and playing video games.
Amazing Quality, Smart Features
The picture quality of this tv is amazing! I had an old tv that needed replacing, so I got this one. It's crazy to see how great the quality is compared to my old television. The picture is just so vivid. And I love the built-in features like Samsung TV Plus. I haven't had cable in forever, and with this feature, I don't even have to use my antenna. I also love the slim profile of the tv. And the fact that the remote is rechargeable via a USB C or solar-powered is just amazing. Set up was quick and easy. Though it recommends two people, I was able to fully set up my tv by myself. So incredibly happy with this purchase. My visitors have commented on how sleek the tv looks and how vivid the picture is. I almost hate to upload these pictures because my pictures (not a photographer lol) do not do this television justice!
Great for gaming
I love this tv for playing xbox on. There is a gaming mode that adjusts the colors so that they look amazing. The screen is really big and playing 2 player games on the same screen is great. the stuff isn't squished together and is pretty easy to see everything. works great. I also went back and re-watched the whole Mandalorian series. It sounded amazing and looked even better that the first time I saw it. This tv is awesome and i am constantly fighting with my brother to see who gets to use it.The 2 player games we really like are Minecraft and Rocket League. On my old tv, Minecraft tended to be a little dark when exploring caves and stuff, but with this new tv, it's easy to see everything that is around and I have been able to get tons more loot than I ever did before. We also use the tv to watch sports. I am a huge hockey fan and love watching the Boston Bruins. We have been watching all of the regular season games and are looking forward to the playoffs that are starting this weekend. The whole family gathers around the tv with some of our favorite appetizers and watches the game on the big screen. Its so much fun! I can't wait until football season so we can do it all again watching the Patriots! There are a ton of speakers on the tv too. They sound amazing. We can hear so much more of the hockey games, its amazing. Also, the creepy noised in minecraft are so much creepier wit this tv because it sounds so realistic.
